ADDING TO an existing hive colony
there is always much activity when introducing a new hive box/added 'floor' to their housing ~
WATER AND ITS IMPORTANCE
so many people THINK that bees DO NOT NEED water WELL THEY DO 1. for themselves to DRINK
2. to fan the hive - we supply water from a drum on the truck bed via hose to the drum on the site with a float.. to moderate water level... Rock for landing pad...

Watching the search for pollen is always exciting ~ seeking the source of THEIR BEE BREAD / THEIR PROTEIN crucial to their survival ~

ONE NEVER KNOWS how the bees will react ~ or what set them off ~ be prepared and have humour ~ one is allowed to swear like a sailor or simply bite the bullet :) as it too shall pass....
